recently i don't had lost thing borrowed.
but when i was student, i sometimes lost about borrowed.
but because when i young then ,i I received some allowance.
so, example when if i borrowed thing was cheaper,i just apologized.
and i bought cheap junk food to them.
but if i borrowed thing was expensive, i talked my parents and i bought same new thing and send return it.
now i work a job, so i have a money.
if i lost thing borrowed, i speak frankly, i will buy same new thing and return it. expensive or cheap.

I totally agree! Before, if we lost something, all we could do was apologize and treat them to something we could afford. But now that we are working, we need to replace the thing we borrowed if we lose it. I think this is also the reason why I don't like borrowing nowadays because I know how big of a responsibility it is!
