What is the best thing to do to please women on Valentine\'s Day?

In my personality, I haven't taken any anniversary like Valentine's day.
I don't want to be misunderstood, I actually love to take a day with her on couple anniversary as a yearly anniverary.

I think Valentine's day and white day are made by company which sell a chocolate or candy. So this is why I don't like to celebrate Valentine's day or white day.

But today question is the method please women on special day. It is the hardest question to all of men in the world, I think.
If I were, I would make a reservation for a fancy restaurant and prepare a gift not expensive.
Someone who heard that I prepare a gift not expensive can ask me why not an expensive gift?
Because If I buy an expensive gift for someone, he or she can expect to get a more expensive product or beautiful one next time.
It might sound obvious, but it's my opinion to give some gifts.

I understand your point and thank you for sharing them.
I consider myself not a believer and follower of Valentine's but I don't condemn people who give importance on this day. You mentioned that this day and next month's event is too commercialized which I totally agree with. The meaning of love becomes complicated because people are expecting something from someone, whereas TRUE LOVE means do not expect something in return and the meaning becomes invalidated when we spend too much money for today where you can always celebrate your love every day.
