It is essential to treat our lives with flexibility. I think that life consists of seasons of summer and winter. Our plans and expectations don't always flow smoothly. As people get older and mature, they realize that they should sometimes go through difficult times inevitably. I would like to use coffee as a metaphor. Many adults enjoy drinking a cup of coffee, which is like they accept a bitter flavor as a part of their lives. So being flexible means that we recognize the bittersweet nature of life, stay calm and are ready for the darkness that may come. Back to my childhood, since I used to plan and organize all things, whenever I encountered unanticipated situations, I would easily got frustrated. After I learned how to be flexible, I felt much more comfortable. By giving up on excessive goals and readjusting them into practical plans, now I can deal with abrupt troubles better than I did in the past. I hope more people conquer the fear of uncertainty with flexibility.
