I have never tried any special or extreme diets. I naturally dont gain weight easily, and since I exercise from time to time, I have never really had to worry about controlling my weight or paying close attention to my nutritional intake. The only exception was during my military service when I briefly did weight training and tried to plan my diet. At that period, I used to work out every day and pay close attention to protein intake to build muscle. The daily meals provided there were mainly composed of rice and other carbohydrates, so I tried to supplement with protein powder or chicken breast regularly in order to get enough protein. Though I dont follow a special diet today, I still try to take supplements when I have time and can make an effort to look after my nutrition. Anyway, I think that keeping a special diet to maintain fitness is really impressive and admirable.
