I think that there are reasons for making superstition. In the past. adults wanted to stop something they don't want, for example, if someone had their nails cut off, It was probably hard to find all pieces of cut nails. Because there wasn't good lamp. Somebody wanted to stop cutting nails at night for keeping clean home. So, he or she made the superstition. It isn't matter not to follow the superstition, but if we do, we feel uncomfortable. My opinion is that it is better to keep the superstition which doesn't give damage to us.
