Why I watch TV is mainly to improve my English listening skill, so I usually watch English Programs. I can learn about cultural knowledge of English spoken countries. For example, we have to take off our shoes when we come into the house, we use specific language to name the older because if we call them their names, it seems to be very rude, or crazy.
And also I can understand the way of humor by watching TV. If I can laugh when I watch an English comedy program, it means that my English ability is proved to reach the advanced level. To understand this humor, if I expose to these comedy programs quite often, I will catch the point that I have to laugh at.
Lastly, English spoken programs are as interesting and fun as my native language programs. Above all, international streaming is prevalent such as Netflix, Disney, etc., so it is easy to access other language programs.
