To angry customers, I usually follow three steps based on my experience in client service. First, I start by listening to their complaints empathetically and passionately to acknowledge and grasp their stress level and expectation. Then I navigate the solution to tackle down clients¡¯ concerns by asking further questions. In this step, I decide whether to escalate to another department or close the case by myself. If I need to transfer the call to another department, I always try to explain comprehensively beforehand to avoid misunderstanding. Finally, I offer a solution to clients. At the same time, I always remember to provide additional service if necessary. For instance, I tried to give the clients a discount or extra support to show how devoted I am to each client¡¯s case. Although dealing with irritated customers requires strenuous experience to interact with angry customers, my adopted procedure allows me to soothe their emotions and forge long-term relationships.
